Layla Ganibegovic was born and raised in Astoria Queens, NY. Despite being a city kid, in recent years she has gained an interest in all things wild west, inspired by the aesthetics of the time period as well as its history and impact on modern culture.As a first generation Bosnian american, Layla was encouraged by family to pursue dreams of being an artist from a very young age. This encouragement led to Layla attending an arts highschool, where she graduated with an arts endorsed diploma.Today, Layla is studying illustration at the fashion institute of technology, eager to one day jump into the fields of illustration, concept art, cow tipping in the plains of the west, and whatever else comes her way.
